The 54th session of the Census Bureau was held on Sunday 11th December 2005 at the CSO's premises under the chairmanship of Dr. Abdulhakim Al-Oboid, the CSO's undersecretary and Census assistant director .

During this session, the contents of the field work technical document for the basic services map at the level of the Republics governments have been disused . Certain detailed tables about work magnitude, preparation of field groups, workers and their categories, time-table for implementing work as well as the preliminary budget required for implementing the field operations at the level of the Republic's government offer valuation of the pre-test results, have been endorsed .
